Those involved work collaboratively to produce a musical. There are many opportunities for actors, dancers, and singers. Additionally, students who like to work on the technical side are encouraged to join.
Availability: Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, and some weekends (December-March) - must audition in November.

Do you have a big project coming up? Do you need a quiet space to work on homework? Come to homework club! Homework club is a quiet and structured setting for students to complete work after school.
Availability: Mondays and Thursday 3-4, all year. Drop-ins welcome!

The Model United Nations club studies world issues and current events. Students are assigned a certain world country and they research the issues as they relate to their country. They attend an all day conference on a Saturday in March. Middle school.
Availability: TBD - 3:00-4:00 - must complete and application and demonstrate research skills

Open to any students who wants to run with a group after school. We go to Elizabeth park two or three days a week to prepare for Hartford Marathon Fit Kids Day.
Availability: Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday - 3:00-4:00 - must sign up and have a guardian signed permission slip.

For the curious...and for lovers of science! Students have an opportunity to work on projects, labs and activities that are not necessarily in the middle school curriculum. Also, participate in activities that might not be feasible for the large classroom environment. Students have a chance to choose areas of interest and have an active role in deciding what activities we should attempt over the year!
Availability: Thursdays (September-December & March-May) - 3:00-4:00 - must sign up and have a guardian signed permission slip. 7th and 8th graders to begin, 6th graders can participate if there are open spots.

Unified Theater is an all inclusive theater program that puts the spotlight on ability! Student leaders help the cast and crew write original scripts and create props/sets, for a fun one-of-a-kind performance filled with acting, singing, dancing, and more.
Availability: Monday and Friday (September-November) - 3:00-4:00 (additional dates/times closer to performance) - must sign-up at interest meeting in September.

W.E.B. stands for Where Everybody Belongs. 8th grade WEB leaders welcome and support 6th graders to the Bristow family by leading an orientation the day before school begins. Leaders will follow-up with 6th graders with lessons/activities in advisory throughout the school year.
Availability: various dates/times throughout the year - apply to be a leader in the Spring of 7th grade - 20 spots available.
